Care must be taken to align the design with the grain in such a way that the wood will not break.In the next stage the edges are fi nely sanded, the fi gure is dipped in primer and then polished.A router is used to carve the ear and drill a hole for the tail. The edges are sanded down even closer to the printed outline on a belt sander.Then the details are added, and every brush stroke has to be spot-on! Finally the tail is glued into place.The printed shape is cut out roughly with a scroll saw.Now it%u2018s time for the paint brush and safe toy paint, applied by very talented hands.
